DETAILED ITINERARY :

Day 01 – Arrive in Delhi
Arriving in Delhi, you will clear customs and immigration. Leaving the airport, you will be met by our representative, holding a placard with your name on it in the arrival lounge. Arrival transfer to hotel. Assistance for check-in will be provided. After check-in overnight at the hotel.

Day 02 – Delhi Sightseeing
After breakfast full day city tour of Delhi which is India’s bustling capital city. First of all, visit India Gate which is a famous war memorial at the east end of Rajpath. Later on drive past President’s House, Parliament House & Secretariat Building.  Also, visit Gandhi Smriti. The residence of industrialist BD Birla has been converted into a memorial to Mahatma Gandhi, where he used to stay during his visits to Delhi. Gandhiji was assassinated here on his way to offer customary evening prayers.

Later on visit the Red Fort, which is a historic fort in the city of Delhi in India that served as the main residence of the Mughal Emperors. Emperor Shah Jahan commissioned the construction of the Red Fort on 12 May 1638

Later on, visit the beautiful Akshardham Temple. The grand, ancient-styled Swami Narayan Akshardham complex was built in only five years through the efforts of 11,000 artisans and BAPS volunteers.

In the afternoon Qutab Minar is 72.5 m in height and has a mosque at the base. It is a magnificent structure whose construction was started in 1199 by a Muslim King Qutab-ud-din Aibak (after whom it was named) and was finished by his heir IItutmish. Overnight at the hotel. (Breakfast)

Day 03 – Delhi – Rishikesh
After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Rishikesh – the world capital of yoga. On arrival check-in at the hotel.

In the evening, attend the Ganga Aarti ceremony, a spectacular sight, when the Aarti ceremony is performed at all temples in Haridwar at the same instant. It is a moving sight to watch hundreds of miniature lamps float along the river. Overnight at the hotel. (Breakfast)

Day 04 – Rishikesh
After an early breakfast, you will see Har Ki Pauri – This ghat is one of the most sacred ghats in India. Mansa Devi – This temple is located on top of a hill called the Bilwa Parvat. The temple can be reached by the rope way or one can take the normal trekking route to the top. Chandi Devi – This temple is on the top of a hill called the Neel Parvat which is on the other side of the river Ganga.

In the afternoon half-day tour of Rishikesh. You will see Lakshman Jhula – This is the major attraction of Rishikesh. It was built in 1939. Gita Bhavan – Recently constructed, Gita Bhawan, situated just across the Lakshman Jhula, boasts of its impressive paintings and statues from Hindu mythology. Neelkanth Mahadeo – Located 12 km from Rishikesh is Neelkantha Mahadeo, the place where Lord Shiva drank the venom. Triveni Ghat – This bathing ghat is thronged by thousands of pilgrims daily in the evening and morning, who take bath here and attend the Maha Aarti being performed at the Ghat.

In the evening attending Ganga Aarti which is celebrated at 7 pm each night, is a spectacular sight, when the aarti ceremony is performed at all temples in Haridwar at the same instant. Hundreds throng the ghats at Hari-ki-Pairi to participate in this festival. Offerings of lamps and flowers are made to the river immediately following this ceremony and it is a moving sight to watch hundreds of miniature lamps float along the river. Overnight at the hotel. Day 05 – Haridwar – Shimla
After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Shimla – the popular summer capital of the British times and is a proud capital city of the state of Himachal Pradesh.

On arrival check in to the hotel. Evening free to stroll in the famous shopping place of Shimla town – The Mall & The Ridge. Overnight at the hotel. (Breakfast)

Day 06 –  Shimla
After breakfast enjoys sightseeing in Shimla, the capital of Himachal and the former summer capital of the British, set amidst, the snow-capped, Shivalik, mountains which offer some of the most beautiful views of the Himalayas. Visiting Indian Institute Of Advanced Studies, Sankat Mochan Temple, and Jakhu Temple.

In the afternoon, proceed from Shimla for an excursion to Kufri, where you can rejuvenate yourself amidst dense forests, snow-capped mountains, and exotic flora and fauna. Evening time is completely free to enjoy the breathtaking beauty of the Kufri region. Also visit the Indira Gandhi Holiday Home in Fagu, a picturesque little village, and enjoy horse riding in the magnificent apple orchids. Overnight at the hotel. (Breakfast)

Day 07 – Shimla – Kullu – Manali
After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Kullu – Blessed with an abundance of natural beauty.

Later on, continue to drive to Manali – Situated at the northern end of the Kullu valley, Manali has spectacular views of snowcapped peaks and wooded slopes. Manali is one of those exquisite destinations that are extremely popular among holiday enthusiasts worldwide. It is one of the most popular hill station tourist destinations to visit in India.On arrival check in to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel. (Breakfast)

Day 08 – Manali
After breakfast full-day excursion to nearby places. Visit Hadimba or Dhungiri temple which is one of the most important temples in the region.

Later on, the excursion visiting Kothi Gorge, Gulaba, Marhi, Rohtang Pass -(tourist spot in Himalaya having snow all 12 months) is the most visited tourist spot in Himalaya (Upto Snow Line in case Rohtang is closed due to snowfall) and Solang Valley evening return to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel. (Breakfast)

Day 09 – Manali – Dharamshala
After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Dharamsala which is the main hill station in the Kangra Valley – a fertile, undulating valley, lying between the gentle Shivalik Hills and the foothills of the mighty Dhauladhars – a valley noted for the beauty of its scenery – lush terraces, wooded hills, manicured tea gardens, and sparkling streams.

On arrival check in to the hotel. The rest of the day is free to relax at your hotel. Overnight at the hotel. (Breakfast)

Day 10 – Dharamshala
After breakfast enjoys a full-day tour of Dharamsala. Set against the magnificent backdrop of the towering Dhauladhar ranges, Dharamshala lies perched up on the high slopes of the Kangra valley. Dharamshala is better known as Dalai Lama’s abode and Tibet’s Government-in-exile. A visit to the Namgyal Monastery, ensconcing the Center of Tibetan Studies is nothing short of mandatory. Visit McLeodGanj – Little Lhasa is thick with the Tibetan cultural feel. Later, visit the Kangra Art Museum, which has a treasure trove of the art and crafts of the region. Overnight at the hotel. Day 11 – Dharamshala – Amritsar
After an early breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Amritsar. On arrival check in to the hotel.

In the afternoon an excursion to visit Wagah Border – One of the many nearby places to visit from Amritsar is the Wagah Border. Located on the Indo-Pakistan border, Wagah is 28 kilometers from the Amritsar main town. In the late evening come back to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel. (Breakfast)

Day 12 – Amritsar – Delhi (Departure)
After breakfast visit, The Golden Temple – A symbol of the magnificence and strength of the Sikh people all over the world, the Golden temple is the most visited tourist attraction of Amritsar.

Later on visit Maharaja Ranjit Singh Summer Palace Museum– The summer place of Maharaja Ranjit Singh which is situated in the heart of Ram Bagh, Amritsar, Houses the Museum.

Later on, visit Jallianwala Bagh which is just the walking distance from the Golden Temple. Jalianwala has a special importance attached to it with respect to India’s freedom struggle On April 13, 1919, on the auspicious day of Baisakhi hundreds of men, women, and children sacrificed their lives in front of the ruthless firing of the British forces. Also, visit Ram Bagh which is a beautiful garden with the summer Palace of Maharana Ranjit Singh in its center. In the evening transfer to the airport to catch a flight to Delhi. Arrive in Delhi and catch an International flight for the onward journey. (Breakfast)
